About Us

The Butchers Shop is part of Underwood Meat Company, one of the largest independent catering butchers in the UK, which has been operating for almost 50 years.

In 2008 we opened our first branch of The Butcher's Shop in Rotherham.

​The factory outlet was such a success that we have gone on to open factory shops in Barnsley, Dronfield, Eckington, Doncaster, Sheffield, Wakefield, Leeds and Clifton.

In 2020 we launched our online shop, bringing our unbeatable prices right to your door.
